The Sophic Method (SM) is a set of proprietary IT solution implementation tools and controls designed to help achieve the desired outcome of a software development project. It is not to be mistaken for a methodology. The SM is designed to produce better results when used in conjunction to traditional software implementation methodologies [RUP, Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, etc] and technologies. It is designed to help bridge deficiencies prevelant during the business transformation planning and pre-initiation phases of a project. Once the SM framework is activated it integrates with the project and works throughout the duration of the development lifecycle. The SM can be considered a bridle that influences the direction of the project- preventing wrong turns , thus saving time and money. The preventative nature of the SM framework has been designed as a result of many years of experience working within the software project lifecycle space.
